Hello all, and thank you for visiting my new blog!

The day has finally come… we’ve closed on our dream home!

Well, right now it’s not exactly dreamy…. it needs a lot of work. But it WILL be our dream home!

I’ll be chronicling our extensive renovation – kitchen, flooring, paint, reconfiguration… it’s a big job but we are so excited to get it in motion. Our new four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath house is just begging for personal touches throughout. It was rented out until now and is decorated in blah tenant-friendly colors and fabrics – we plan to make it a fun and colorful place for our growing family!

Stay tuned for “before” pictures – I’m heading over to the house today with a camera so that I can show you the transformation!

I can’t wait to use this blog as a sounding board – aside from the regular house stuff, I’ll be posting pictures of home-related items that I love. Please give your input and show me what you love too!
